She Said, "Let's Do This."

Years. Literal years.

That's how long I've been wanting to create a blog for books. I've always loved books, ever since I was a little girl, and I am finally going to actively do something with this love. (We'll ignore that I've been on the dreaded "book twitter" for years now.) I think that this will be a great step in the right direction for me, and hopefully for my career, in the book world. Not to mention, with the order to social distant and stay home, I have literally no excuse not to do this.

To make sure that I maintain this blog, and to ensure that I keep the promise to myself to finally share my thoughts, I've decided to set goals for myself. Not deadlines. If I'm being honest, the word "deadline" intimidates me and it's not a feeling that I wish to associate with this blog. This blog is meant to be fun, and to relieve my stress. It's meant to be an outlet-- and a positive one, at that. So I'm keeping it that way.

That being said, the first order of business is to write some book reviews. Then we'll see if I can branch out to all these other ventures that've been percolating in my brain since the womb.
